-四级要求考生掌握4500左右的词汇量。
-六级需要5500左右的词汇量。
众所周知，高考英语的词汇量要求是3500左右。这也是为什么，高考英语很好的同学考四级一般比较轻松，而考六级则可能稍显吃力了。
听力
听力是四六级的'老大难'了，也是四级、六级区别最明显的科目：
-四级听力材料的语速为120-140词/分钟
-六级听力材料的语速为140-160词/分钟
考试时间上，六级比四级多5分钟，所以六级听力的材料更长。
四级听力题目一般只需要直线思考即可，听几个关键词就能找到答案；而六级需要理解整个听力材料，综合判断得出答案。
听力是80%四六级考生的短板。然而它也是掌握技巧后提升显著的科目
阅读
-四级仔细阅读的速度要求每分钟70词，四级快速阅读要求每分钟100词
-六级仔细阅读的速度要求每分钟90词，六级快速阅读要求每分钟120词。
四六级阅读的考试时间相同，六级的篇幅却更长。这意味着，六级考生要在相同的时间里，阅读更多的内容。

写译
-四级写作字数要求为120-180词
-六级写作字数要求为150-200词
四级的写译话题简单一些，高级词/句式+通畅+错误少······就能拿到比别人高很多的分数。而到了六级，题目更复杂，句式连贯等这些操作仅是基础项。
分值计算
四六级的评分规则，计算公式如下。你的卷面分最后会代入这个公式计算，得出你的最终分数。☝️
注：TotSco表示总分;X表示每位考生常模转换前的原始总分;Mean表示常模均值；SD表示常模标准差
四六级在这里的区别是：公式中取的常模样本均值——即，四级和六级的对手不一样。四级样本来自普通大学的学生，而六级样本则来自重点大学。
最最最直观
一直以来流传着一个公式——同时期，你的六级成绩约等于你的四级成绩减80分（也有一种说法是100分）。
可以这样理解：如果你这次的四级是425擦线过的话，用这个水平立刻去考六级，大概能考到345分......
当然，这只是每年四六级考生积累的经验总结，属于大数据。
回归到个体，还要考虑英语基础、复习程度、时间等因素。但你可以把它当作一个参考，对四级和六级的差距有一个基本认知。
